So, it’s official, you’re a startup business owner.  You filled out all the paperwork, paid all the fees, and maybe even secured some financing.  But what’s next?  Let's get you online.  

Registering your new domain 

If you are looking to start your own web page, or use a custom email address, registering a domain name is a must.  We will go over different options available for both name registration and website hosting.     

Setting up a Microsoft 365 subscription 

With a Microsoft 365 business subscription, not only will you have the latest version of Office to work with, but you also get Email, OneDrive, and Teams.  You get a 50GB mailbox limit, 1TB of OneDrive space for your files, and the ability to host video conferences with your clients.  I will help you select an appropriate subscription level and setup your services.    

Setting up your Microsoft Bookings page for online appointments 

Microsoft Bookings is included with their Standard and Premium subscriptions.  Microsoft Bookings enables your clients to book appointments with you based on your calendar availability.  When you create a service in Microsoft Bookings, it generates a link, you can put this link in your email signature, on your website, and even in Facebook ads.  I will help you go through the basic configuration items for Microsoft Books to help you get started.    

Starting your Google Business profile 

This is the starting point for getting your business to show up in google searches.  Setting up a Google Business profile allows you to publish information about your business, set keywords relevant to your services, and create posts and advertisements in Google.  I will walk you through creating your profile and help start the verification process.  

Registering your Business on Microsoft Ads 

Like Google Business, but with a focus on Microsoft Bing and other Microsoft owned services.  A great feature of Microsoft Ads is that it allows you to import advertisements from Google Business to help supplement your advertising campaigns.  We will walk through setting up your account.    

NOTE:  

Clients are responsible for all costs associated with domain registration, website hosting, and software subscriptions.  

Creating a Google Business profile requires a verification process that takes 5-10 business days to complete.
